The MikroTik cAP XL ac (RBcAPGi-5acD2nD-XL) is a highly capable, dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) indoor wireless access point. Compared to standard cAP models, the XL version is equipped with an upgraded, high-gain antenna that provides significantly wider coverage and enhanced signal stability throughout your premises.

Fully supporting the high-speed 802.11ac standard, it is an ideal solution for delivering robust Wi-Fi coverage in offices, hotels, and large indoor environments. The device features two Gigabit Ethernet ports: the first port supports PoE-in for powering the access point, while the second port offers PoE-out, allowing you to conveniently power an additional network device (such as an IP camera) directly from the AP. Its sleek, low-profile design blends seamlessly into any interior and allows for easy mounting on a ceiling or wall.

The dual-band, dual-chain 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless radio provides a strong coverage in 360 degrees around it, so you don’t have to worry about the placement of the device so much. Putting it on the ceiling eliminates many signal absorption problems, such as the signal being blocked by large TV sets, metal cubicle walls in open space offices, etc.

Even though the radio supports repeater mode, the two Gigabit Ethernet ports give you the ability to extend your network with cables, even if PoE power is required: the cAP XL ac supports 802.3af/at PoE input on the first port and passive PoE output (up to 57V) on the second port.
