The RTU5024 is a GSM-based (2G) remote relay switch operating on Quad-band frequencies (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). The device functions via Caller ID recognition: upon detecting an incoming call from an authorized number, the unit rejects the call and triggers the internal relay output. This operation method incurs no call charges.

The internal memory supports a database of up to 200 authorized users. Configuration, including adding or removing users, is performed strictly via SMS commands. The unit provides a dry contact relay output suitable for controlling electronic locks, gates, barriers, or other electrical equipment.
