This is a 60mm long and 5.5mm diameter heat-shrinkable tube designed to protect the optical fiber fusion splice point from mechanical stress and environmental hazards (moisture, dust). It consists of a transparent heat-shrinkable outer tube, a hot-melt adhesive inner tube, and a stainless steel strength member for rigidity. The increased 5.5mm diameter makes it ideal for protecting thicker cables or specific splice requirements.
