The UniFi U7 Lite is an excellent choice for home and office wireless networks that demand high performance at an affordable price point. With support for over 200 concurrent devices and coverage of around 115 m² (1250 ft²) per unit, a single U7 Lite can provide connectivity for a mid-sized space. For larger areas or dense environments, multiple U7 Lite APs can be deployed to extend coverage or create a mesh network for seamless Wi‑Fi across the entire location.
As part of the UniFi ecosystem, the U7 Lite is managed centrally via the UniFi Network application, allowing unified configuration and monitoring alongside other UniFi access points, switches, and gateways. It supports the latest network management features such as guest Wi‑Fi with captive portal and client isolation, VLAN tagging, Wi‑Fi scheduling, and more. Please note that managing the U7 Lite requires a UniFi Network controller running version 9.0.114 or newer (e.g. a UniFi Dream Machine or Cloud Key with updated firmware).
